Radical Boosts

Did you get an email recommending a Radical Boost for your child? Purchase and book the session here.

Timely Radical Boosts can be a critical piece of the program and are delivered only as needed in our Core Programs. Some kids need very few, some kids need more. If your child starts to need multiple lessons per month, we may recommend moving to our Clinical Program, which includes regular weekly sessions.

How Radical Boosts fit in

As your child progresses in Lexia Core5, the program adjusts to their learning. When your child needs more instruction to "get" a concept, Lexia has levels of built-in scaffolding to address this without teacher intervention. But sometimes this isn't enough, and the program will flag your child for intervention with a Radical Boost.

When this happens you’ll get an email for you to book a half-hour private "Radical Boost" that specifically targets the piece they are stuck on. Then we'll follow up that lesson with other resources and exercises they can do on paper to solidify their learning and move past that bump before it becomes a gap.
